There are several policies indicating what types of pages can be created. Pages which fail to follow these policies will immediately face deletion.
Reasons For Deletion
Reasons for deletion include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Advertising, hate, troll, and otherwise vandalism or spam
- Articles about non-sourced content
- Articles outside the scope of LGBTQIA+ Wiki (i.e. micro-labels as standalone pages)
- Galleries or repositories of images
- Redundant or otherwise useless templates
- Categories not established with administrator permission
- Duplicates of images already existing on the wiki
Continued attempts to recreate content that has been deleted before may be subjected to administrator action.
Processes
- Pages that fulfill at least one of the above criteria should be tagged with
{{delete}}by non-administrators and be simply deleted by administrator. - Where it is unclear whether a page fulfills the criteria above, or where it does not fulfill the criteria above but may still be unnecessary, pages should be brought to the attention of an administrator so they can review and discuss it and take the appropriate action.
If you disagree with a deletion, you may respectfully bring this to the attention of an administrator, though we ask you to respect their final decision on the matter. Deletions are done based on administrator discretion, who have received Staff guidelines about what is and is not acceptable as a page on LGBTQIA+ Wiki.
